To begin the mentoring process, you will start with an introductory session with both Angela and Renee.

This session, guided by DBP, is essentially an investigation into you, your strengths and your objectives. It provides DBP with a clearer view of who you are, what you want and how we can work with you towards the goals you’ve set for yourself and your business.

We can answer any questions you have during this session and provide suggestions and insights as to how we can best help you. The introductory session also provides DBP the opportunity to understand exactly where you're at so we can provide customised advice to you in future sessions.

Think of it like your first session of Pilates, where the instructor learns more about you to reach an understanding of your unique set of circumstances in order to support you through an ongoing process

As a result of the information we gather during that session, DBP provide recommendations on how the mentorship process can best support your mission, noting specific areas of focus and outcomes.

Irrespective, the mentee drives every session thereafter, determines appointment frequency and provides the topics for discussion at each following appointment.

There are no hard and fast rules to mentoring.

Mentorship is a relationship. Mentors guide mentees through a period of change towards agreed objectives, where the mentee taps into the experience and skills of the mentor.

A mentor has vast experience and skills in a specific field, practice, industry or vocation.  A mentee utilises the value provided from the relationship with their mentor towards their own mission at their discretion.

Mentors provide independent, objective advice whilst summoning reference to their own specific learnings. Mentors assist mentees to make choices.

In a confidential and casual setting, mentorship provides the mentee with a relationship that supports and guides them towards their own goals.

In order to ensure our overheads are kept low, and to continue providing accessible and affordable services, all of our mentoring sessions are held online using Google Meet. All instructions on required software and how to connect are provided to mentees prior to our first session.

This also means we can provide mentoring to all parts of Australia, and additionally we can continue mentoring programs while our mentees travel to various parts of the world.

As part of our recommendations, we will suggest an appointment frequency based on your own goals, however we’ve designed the program to allow for flexibility with regards to mentee’s cash flow and personal availability.

On average we see mentee’s monthly, however some will check in every few months, some may see us intensively for a few weeks and then come back to us again when they feel they need us or have a major event or change they require support with. Ultimately the choice is that of the mentee.

D’Alton Baker Productions prides itself on offering an affordable mentorship program.

All mentees benefit from the experience and expertise of both Angela and Renée in every appointment.

We’ve designed our mentoring program to be flexible and affordable for small businesses who may be working with a start-up budget or irregular cash flow.

Our Introductory session is $129, and subsequent sessions are $160.

If you’re looking for ways to save, our 5 pack attracts a 10% discount at $720 and our 10 pack attracts a 15% discount at $1360.

We are a trusted source of independent opinion and advice. Whether you’re looking for a list of next steps to take in your business, or a sounding board for your ideas, we can work with you, all while drawing upon our experience and knowledge.
